The FAW JH6 truck is equipped with the Aowei series engine, independently developed by FAW Jiefang and employing advanced technology. The power output ranges from 460 to 560 horsepower. This engine utilizes high-performance turbocharging technology and an optimized combustion system, ensuring rapid and efficient power response on both flat roads and complex mountain roads, with particularly outstanding performance in climbing. The precise matching of the engine with a high-efficiency manual transmission (12-speed or 16-speed with overdrive) and a low-ratio rear axle achieves a perfect balance between power and fuel economy, keeping the engine operating within its optimal RPM range at cruising speeds, thus significantly reducing fuel consumption per 100 kilometers.Transmission System: All models come standard with a 12-speed AMT (T-Shift) transmission independently developed by FAW Group. This transmission boasts an efficiency of up to 99.8%, supports predictive shifting, and offers both manual and automatic modes. The rear axle utilizes a 440 single-stage reduction gearbox with gear ratios ranging from 2.389 to 3.727, suitable for various driving conditions, such as high-speed driving on flat roads and rugged mountain roads.
